Hey, I'm Laura Dawn.
I work at the intersection of psychedelics, creativity, and human transformation. The larger arc of my work is exploring psychotechnologies: the tools and practices that shape how we perceive, think, create, and change. I hold a Master of Science in Creativity and Change Leadership and have spent more than two decades studying altered states and supporting people through meaningful change.
Over the past year, I've built software, research systems, creative tools, and digital projects with AI. The best of them solved persistent problems in my own life, expanded my creative range, and helped me move from an idea to something I could test, use, and share.
Working this closely with AI has sharpened the question at the center of this workshop: What should we ask a machine to do for us, and what do we need to keep doing because of who it helps us become?
